Is Birth Pang Avoidable?
I doubt. If it is really the birth-pang. It is worth it. The pearls are not on the beaches. They are down under. Anything worthwhile is not easily obtainable. It takes countless number of trials for discovering one law of nature. This is the law of nature. Otherwise, we will not know the value. Also, it will hamper our capacity of making efforts and discovering even more.
After the results have been obtained it justifies the amount of efforts exerted for it. Whatever that amount may be. When the baby is born and the mother looks at him she forgets the pain and thinks that it was worth it.
If we aim at the betterment of Muslims it will require a more serious work. In fact, the most serious work. It will mean finding a better direction. It will mean that even a few AMUs will not be enough. Though at the moment we are so captivated by it that we do not look much beyond it.
One of the pangs we need to bear and experience is that of the birth of ideas. We have to outlive our desire of getting a leader. So far, we have enjoyed the luxury of this desire and have been postponing a lot for the supposed arrival of someone who will bear all the pangs – and we will be saved of it. Let us not put anyone in trouble. Let us put ourselves in trouble. We will not regret it. I am sure.
