Friday Reflections

As I attended the Salaat al-Jumu‘ah today with a huge number of people and outside the masjid a lot many ideas came across my mind. The Imam gave a khutbah about the importance of Arabic language. This was nice. But understandable to only those who already knew Arabic.

We stood up straightening the line for offering the two rak‘aat. I wondered if we were really straightening the line. We tried a lot to stand in a single direction. But I wondered if we really tried to stand in one direction.

We prayed a lot today. Wondered if, among all other prayers, did any imaam or any muqtadee pray to Almighty today that He guides us towards mastering all the sciences of the world and becoming founders of many more still undiscovered.
