Two Examples Of Self-contradiction

On occasions we express the desire for leaders. But when it is proposed that let us integrate critical thinking in our curriculum (as a small step) – which might (in the long run) produce leaders – we do not pay much attention to it. Hence, we want leaders and we do not want to do what could give us leaders – both at the same time. If we introduce the said component we will not get just one or two leaders. We will get plenty of them. Every graduate of our Universities will be a leader.

We believe in the Book which says, “Whatever misfortune befalls you is of your own doing – and He forgives much.” (Soorah ash-Shu‘araa’, 42: 30) but blame the ‘enemies’ for most of our problems. We do that on a daily basis. Don’t believe in that? Look at our periodicals.
