Rise And Fall Of Nations

“Indeed the Almighty elevates a people by this Book and debases others.” (Saheeh Muslim, Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Maajah, Ad-Daarimee)

The Book referred to in the above Hadeeth is Qur’an. In another version (of ad-Daarimee) the Hadeeth categorically mentions Qur’an. The Prophet of Islam (pbuh) was given ‘jawaami‘ al-kalim’ i.e. the ability to say a few words which were pregnant with meaning. The beauty of such expressions is the fact that it could be applied in various situations and enlighten the path - always.

Let us not argue that we are agreeing to this claim because we happen to be the ones who believe in it. Let us see why the Book is able to do so. It is able to do so for a very simple reason. It teaches to think differently. I would ask if any progress is possible without a different thinking?

This is why the Book was proposed to be in the Right Hand. Being in the right place it could lead to the regaining of the glorious position of founders and promoters of sciences.
